ThreadIn was a group project done in collaboration with students in furniture, games and graphic design at the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen. The goal of ThreadIn was to increase artistic inclination and interest in the countryside for tourists coming to Denmark. 🇩🇰

Initial situation 🆒
Our task was randomly based on the following circumstances:
We had to promote the artistic perspective on holidays in provincial towns for adults from 49 - 65.

Concept 🎯
We chose to concentrate on the experience of tourists in one big work of art that would be constantly to evolving. To participate, tourists buy the ThreadIn box, which contains wax thread and wood cylinder with a map and other information about Faxe Ladeplads.

We visited Faxe Ladeplads several times to meet artists, to let the atmosphere work on us and to collect natural materials that we later incorporated into the design.
