Metaverse Showroom Experience
during my work @ demodern
To accelerate the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series, particularly for a post-millennial audience, we developed a unique Metaverse platform for Xiaomi. This virtual showroom allows users to explore the new smartphones in an engaging 3D environment, personalize their avatars, and interact with content seamlessly—without the need for registration.
My Role as UX Lead

• Conceptualizing the User Flow – Designing the journey from the landing page to first use and onboarding.

• Onboarding & UX Writing – Crafting onboarding texts that guide users intuitively while maintaining Xiaomi’s tone and brand personality.

• Avatar Creation Concept – Designing the logic for avatar customization, allowing users to personalize their Avatar.

• Responsive Design – Ensuring an optimal experience across devices, particularly for mobile users, by adapting layouts and interactions accordingly.

• Content Pages – Structuring the content sections within the showroom, making product information accessible.

Results

The Xiaomi Virtual Showroom successfully brought the product launch into the Metaverse, providing users with an immersive and interactive brand experience.

With a streamlined onboarding process, personalized avatars, and a mobile-friendly design, we made it easy for users to explore the showroom, interact with products, and engage with the Xiaomi brand in a new and exciting way.
